How It Started

We didn’t start woodworking to build a shop.
We started because we needed a potting bench.

One project turned into another — greenhouse shelves, outdoor furniture, shop carts, and eventually a full woodworking space. Along the way, we realized two things:

  1. We were always learning

  2. We learned better doing it together

That’s why we started Sawdust & Side-Eyes — to share what we’ve learned, the mistakes we’ve made, and the satisfaction of building something yourself.

We’re Not Experts — Just a Few Projects Ahead

Most woodworking channels show perfect results.
We show the process — including the missteps, adjustments, and side-eyes along the way.

If you’re just getting started, or getting back into woodworking, you’re in the right place.
